OUR PRIORITY IS THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELL-BEING OF ALL PARTICIPANTS OF CURLING AT THE PRINCE ALBERT GOLF AND CURLING CENTRE (FURTHER KNOWN AS: PAGCC).

WE SUPPORT OUR MEMBERS AND WE SUPPORT AND RESPECT THEIR PRIVACY.

WE ARE PROUD MEMBERS OF CURLING CANADA AND CURLSASK.

WE SUPPORT THE EFFORTS TO PROTECT ALL PARTICIPANTS BY IMPLEMENTING MANDATORY VACCINATIONS FOR PERSONS ENTERING AT THE PAGCC CURLING LOBBY AND CURLING RINK.

THE BOARD IS UNITED IN OUR STANCE TO PROTECT THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF ATHLETES, STAFF, CONTRACTORS, VOLUNTEERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ATTENDING/PARTICIPATING AT THE PAGCC.

THOSE WITH APPROVED VACCINATION EXEMPTIONS MUST APPLY FOR AN EXEMPTION A MINIMUM OF TWO WEEKS PRIORTO ATTENDING/PARTICIPATING IN A PAGCC LEAGUE OR EVENT.

CURLSASK Position on Vaccine Mandate

Curling Canada Statement

In a statement from Curling Canada on August 30, 2021, it states: “All athletes, coaches, fans, volunteers, media and event staff and contractors above the age of 12 will have to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to participate in, and attend, Curling Canada affiliated events.” “Those attending Curling Canada events must provide a proof of first vaccination…a minimum of 14 days before the start of the event they are attending.”

CURLSASK Sanctioned Activities Effective immediately CURLSASK will make mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations to participate in any CURLSASK sanctioned activities. Those participating or attending CURLSASK sanctioned events (competitions, camps, clinics or meetings) MUST be fully vaccinated, defined by a period of at least 14 days having passed since receiving their second dose of a two-dose Covid-19 vaccine series and provide a proof of full vaccination. Those with approved vaccination exemptions must apply for a CURLSASK exemption a minimum of 2 weeks prior to attending/participating in a CURLSASK event.

Member Clubs • CURLSASK respects the autonomy of each curling club to operate its own business given the local environment and membership needs.

• CURLSASK recommend all curling clubs adopt a mandatory vaccination policy to protect the health and safety of their members and community at large.

• It is recommended that each club’s board of directors determine their position on enhanced health protocols

• Further, it is the responsibility of each club to stay up to date and follow current Saskatchewan Health Guidelines in their region.

• CURLSASK will support and assist any club that institutes a Vaccine Mandate in any way possible.

Youth Programing • All coaches, instructors & consultants are required to be fully vaccinated and wear masks when working with Youth.
